This passion project was a creative exploration of the colour purple, focusing on the Purple iPhone 12. The goal was to highlight its sleek design and the tactile appeal of the new model through bold, experimental visuals.
The focus was clear: capture the allure of the colour through a dynamic blend of textures, lighting and motion — a vibrant piece that pushes the boundaries of 3D motion design while keeping the product at the centre of attention.

I started by developing a moodboard that distilled the core elements of the project — finding ideas to explore and the overall aesthetic that needed to resonate throughout the piece. It became the visual foundation, establishing a cohesive language early on that informed the look and feel of everything that followed.
With the moodboard as my guide, I explored various ideas in Houdini, experimenting with different tools and techniques. Some directions were archived; I refined the ones that worked well together into a final composition that was both visually striking and true to the vision.
After refining the most promising ideas, I moved to final execution — creating the materials for each object and setting up the lights, ensuring the final images were both captivating and true to the project's vision.

In post I refined the final renders for a polished, cohesive look — enhancing colours, optimizing lighting and adjusting composition so every element integrated seamlessly into the visual narrative. Each pair below: raw render on the left, final grade on the right.
